Stamford Town Center Stamford Connecticut
An older mall, opened in 1982, Stamford Town Center is located on the shores of Long Island Sound in Southern Connecticut in the town of Stamford. Stamford Town Center features over 100 shops, stores and restaurants and though smaller than many malls in the area, is still an excellent shopping destination. From the north and south, Stamford Town Center can be reached via Interstate 95 at exit 8 and from the east and west via the Long Ridge or High Ridge exits off of Merritt Parkway. Stamford Town Center’s hours of operation are from 10 am to 9 pm Monday through Saturday and from 12 noon to 6 pm on Sundays. Holiday hours will vary.
Anchored by Macy's and Saks Fifth Avenue, Stamford Town Center has over 25 shops for women's fashions, including Charlotte Russe, Ann Taylor Loft and Cache. For men's fashions, shoppers can choose from 13 different shops, including Timberland, The Gap and Brooks Brothers. There are also 6 shops for children's clothes, including Gymboree, Gap Kids and The Children's Place. Stamford Town Center also has 16 shops for health and beauty, 7 jewelry stores, 5 shops for music and video and 7 stores for home furnishings, including Williams Sonoma and Pottery Barn Studio Store.

The one area that Stamford Town Center seems to be lacking, compared to many other malls in the area, is their food court. There are few restaurants in theirs, and two are more specialty food shops than restaurants. The 4 counter restaurants they do have are Master Wok, Sbarro, Subway and My Kitchen Healthy Food.
